Earlier we reported that King Nagarjuna’s ‘Rajanna’ might not make it on the 30th. It has been learnt that ‘Rajanna’ will now hit the screens on October 14th. Gopichand’s upcoming movie ‘Mogudu’,in the direction of Krishna Vamsi, is also going to release on the same day.There are big expectations on ‘Rajanna’ given its theme and content. ‘Mogudu’ is coming in with a lot of promise too, as it is supposed to be a Krishna Vamsi brand family entertainer.
Mogudu has almost completed its shoot and the unit is working on its post-production work simultaneously. So now we have ‘Dookudu’ on September 23rd, ‘Oosaravelli’ on October 6th, ‘Mogudu’ & ‘Rajanna’ on October 14th and ‘Bejawada’ on 21st. Venky’s ‘Ganga-The Bodyguard’ might also enter the race on October 14th.
‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ has exited the Dussehra race and the movie will hit the screens sometime in end October.
For now, it looks like advantage ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Oosaravelli’ from a collections perspective,as these two films have a clear run after release. ‘Dookudu’ in particular, has about two weeks for itself before NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’ enters the race.
