Prema khaidi is a telugu version of tamil movie Maina which did a decent business. This film mostly shot in the hilly region in Tamil Nadu, Kerala border near Theni and Munnar. Vidharth, Amala Paul, Thambi Ramaiah and Sethu play lead roles in the film .
Plot of story :
Soori (Vidharth) and Mynaa (Amala Paul) who lives in same village grow up with a friendship. And they believe that they both would get marry. But Mynaa’s mother don’t like to make this alliance because Soori is uneducated.
Soori attacks Mynaa’s mother over this issue and he gets arrested. And the story gains momentum when Soori escapes from jail. Will Soori-myna’s love get succeeded? How Soori faces the unfair situations forms the rest of the story. Mean while, some twists happens that lead the movie in to unexpected turns.
Cast performances :
Vidharth as soori did well. And amala paul impresses in Mynaa role as she got noticed after her performance in this movie. Other cast did their part in making film a good love story. Thambi Ramaiah delivers good performance. Bhaskar in anger scenes goes out of control.
Technicalities :
D Iman’s music and background score simply superb in this movie. Prabhu Solomon did a great job in extracting performance from cast. Cinematography was good. The climax is totally logical since it’s a result of an unfortunate moment where people’s anger and misunderstanding results in dire consequences.
Final word :
Prema khaidhi has its right place and is a good love story!!
