Everyone thought it was 149 and still counting but going by the recent press meet at Tirupathi it seems Chiranjeevi’s 150th film will have to wait atleast till the next assembly elections are over. The merger of Prajarajyam with Congress has added his responsibility to create a better image to the Congress which is now suffering after the demise of Rajasekhar Reddy, particularly Congress needs a strong to counter Jagan and that means a full time job for Chiru. So films at this time mean he has to distance himself from the politics, thus caught between two important issues in his life he appears to have decided in favour of politics and keep the movies away. So Chiru’s fans have to persuade him further to change his mind so that he returns to films atleast after the Assembly elections.
