However, it is heard that the city and the state of Karnataka has dipped alarmingly in terms of providing good quality educational institutions. Sources say many colleges are there but they lack infrastructure or quality faculty.
There is another talk that the admission process for higher education is quite stringent and this has been keeping many students away. Other cities like Pune, Mumbai are more student friendly.
